Our History

Founded in disruption
Our story starts the early 2000’s, when our founders noted a business model gaining prominence in the US wherein agents kept all their commissions. They wondered how the idea might play in Canada, where brokerages had run on anemic split-commission models for decades. The founding branch of Right at Home Realty opened in 2004. 

We immediately attracted attention
Not all of it positive. We were labeled a “discount brokerage” and even less flattering terms. Except our model worked, quickly proving itself superior. That agent-first ethos has enabled RAHR to expand to 10 Ontario branches, where 6,000+ real estate professionals practice their craft their way, fully supported in all their needs – and still taking home that sweet 100% on every single close.
